Linux: Installation and Overview

This course will get you started using Linux. You will install RedHat Linux Fedora Core on your computer. Once the installation is complete you will learn the basics of the command prompt and the graphical user environment. You will be introduced to some basic system administration.

Lesson 1: Installing Linux

Welcome to the world of Linux! In this lesson we will start with a little background and history of Linux. Next we will prepare for our installation of Linux. This lesson will end with us logging into the X Windows environment.
