You will learn the basics of project management using Microsoft Project. During this course you will build a project plan that includes tasks and resources. You will learn to manage the project as tasks are completed and to see whether or not the project is on schedule and on cost. You will use various reporting tools to print and view the project status. You will be able to track the progress of a project and troubleshoot problems with schedules and resource usage. You will be able to customize the Project environment and to publish the project information using various reports, charts and web page options. You will be able to pool resources within a project and to link multiple projects together. You will need a copy of Project. A 30-day trial version is available.
