Lesson 1: Getting Started

Chances are if you have spent any time on the web you have viewed a PDF file at one time or another. The PDF format allows us to create documents that look just like they did in our word processor or document editor. This has a distinct advantage over HTML files that have a limited ability for formatting and will be viewed differently depending on the browser or operating system.

In this lesson we will make sure you have a copy of Acrobat installed and take a look at how to open, view and print a PDF file.
