| 1 | Lesson 1: Responsibilities of the Meeting Leader
In this lesson you will cover some of the important duties of the meeting leader. The leader sets the tone and guides the meeting. The meeting can be either productive and dynamic or frustrating and disorganized. The leader can either firmly follow the agenda or allow the meeting to degenerate into a directionless waste of time. The leader plays many roles while conducting a meeting. Ensuring that all agenda items are covered within a limited amount of time is only the most obvious role a leader provides.
