Start Learning Online Right. Now.

Skills for Learning Online

Learning online, like many things in life, requires you to master a set of skills in order to be successful. Most of these are skills you already have, we are just teaching you to use them in the online environment.

Good skills to have online include time management, good communication, the willingness to ask questions and receive feedback.

Your Learning Styles

Everyone has a different way of viewing, perceiving, processing and organizing the information that they come in contact with each day. These prefernces help to determine your learning style and can affect how well you learn in a given environment.

Looking Ahead

I ask my kids each day what they have learned in school and I usually get the response, "Nothing". I know they are learning something but sometimes it is hard to see a day at a time, but if you can look back to where you started and compare that to where you are now, you can usually see a greater change.

That is what this lesson is all about - a chance to look back over what you have done in the last few weeks and to see where you have grown or changed.
