Lesson 1: Getting Started

In this lesson we are going to create our very first web site in Dreamweaver. This process will start by defining a Site in Dreamweaver. A Site is the way Dreamweaver keeps up with all that is need to be able to create and display your web pages. We will then explore the Dreamweaver environment as we create a basic page. We will learn about the Panels and the different ways we view our work.

All web pages are created using HTML and to really understand how web pages work you will need to be comfortable with viewing HTML code. For that reason, you will see some additional resources in the Content section related to HTML. Take a moment to explore the resources and introduce yourself to HTML.
