RSS Basics

RDF Site Summary (RSS) is a tool that allows web site developers to share information about their sites with other sites or include information from other sites in their own. It can be used to show weblogs or newsfeeds on a website. You will explore the XML code behind RSS and how to create and use syndicated text in your web site.

Chances are if someone has not heard about RSS they have actually used it. In this lesson we will look at what RSS, where it came from and how you might use RSS content in your website.
