Flash ActionScripting

This course will give you an overview of the workings of Flash ActionScripting. You will learn how to use ActionScripting to create content, create and manipulate components, to detect browsers, to load movies, and to animate and process data.

Lesson 1: Getting Started

In this lesson we will learn some of the basics of working with ActionScript. We will create a simple script. Don't worry if you do not totally understand what it does, just pay attention to how the ActionScript interface works and begin to get comfortable with the syntax. We will learn more about what we do in this lesson in later lessons.
