Lesson 1: Getting Started

In this lesson we are going to create our first Motif application - and what would a programming course be without a "Hello, World!" application to start! We will also explore how Motif fits into the X programming toolkit and how Motif, Xlib and X toolkit work together. Our primary goal for this lesson is to ensure that everyone has what they need to work through this course.
