Whether you are designing object-oriented applications or planning a project deployment, UML can help you better visualize the process and communicate design requirements to those involved in the project. In this course you will create UML Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams. You will create UML Class, Object and Package diagrams and use them show composite structures and component diagrams. You will also create State Machine and Deployment diagrams.

| 1 | Lesson 1: Getting Started
In this lesson we will take a look at what UML is, the diagrams that make up the UML models and ways that we can use UML. We will also build our first UML diagram, the Use Case diagram.
The Use Case diagram gives a very high-level view of the sytem being modeled and serves as a good place to start in the Object-Oriented Analysis phase.
